Compliance training and certification requirements in the Technology, AI and Competition sector are tightening, with the European Commission's AI Act mandating documented competency obligations for high-risk AI system operators and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission pressing for demonstrable staff training as part of algorithmic accountability expectations. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has also embedded workforce competency frameworks into its AI Risk Management Framework, giving compliance and legal teams a de facto benchmark that regulators are already citing in inquiries.
