· ABOUT CRESTHAVEN ANALYTICS

An institutional standard for regulatory intelligence.

Cresthaven Analytics monitors 80 official regulatory and policy primary sources across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, and delivers AI-structured executive briefs to institutional investors, compliance teams, and capital-markets professionals. We publish what regulators actually issued — verified, structured, and classified for materiality.

Mission

Institutional-grade regulatory intelligence has historically been available only to firms paying $25,000+ per terminal seat or staffing in-house policy teams costing $400,000 a year. The result: a hundred-thousand lean firms — boutique funds, six-partner law firms, regulated fintech operators, mid-sized GCs — operating with information asymmetry that the largest institutions resolved a decade ago. Cresthaven Analytics exists to close that gap.

Editorial Standards

Every Cresthaven brief is built from official primary sources — regulator releases, rule texts, enforcement orders, official gazettes, and verified press releases — never from secondary reporting, social media, or unverified leaks. Briefs are structured into a fixed five-part format: headline, executive summary, key signals, regulatory delta, materiality classification, time horizon, and intelligence outlook. Each carries a primary-source link so subscribers can verify any claim in seconds.

We do not publish opinion, commentary, or speculation. We do not accept advertising, sponsored content, or paid placements. The subscriber is the only customer.

Sourcing Policy

Cresthaven's coverage spans 80 named regulatory bodies, including the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, FDIC, FINRA, OFAC, BIS, USTR, FDA CBER, FDA CDRH, CMS, FCA, ECB, BoE, MHRA, EMA, EDPB, FTC, DOJ Antitrust, NIST, FERC, EPA, DOE, DoD, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, CMMC, MAS, RBI, JFSA, HKMA, IMDA, AEMC, Korea KEPCO, Japan ATLA, IEA, NATO NSPA, and others. The full list of agencies, organized by sector and region, is published on the briefs index and individual sector hubs.

Verification & Fact-Checking

Source URLs are validated weekly for reachability. AI-structured drafts pass through an automated quality-assurance gate that checks for sourcing integrity, materiality classification consistency, regulatory-delta accuracy, and prohibited content patterns (no individual enforcement coverage outside material actions, no routine recalls, no technical corrections). Briefs that fail the gate are quarantined for human review before publication. Full methodology is documented at /methodology.

Corrections & Updates

When a published brief contains a factual error — misstated authority, incorrect regulatory citation, mischaracterized materiality — the brief is corrected within one business day of notification, with a clear correction note appended to the brief. Corrections are logged internally and surfaced in the next ops digest to subscribers. To report an error or request a correction, email corrections@cresthavenanalytics.com.

Independence & Conflicts

Cresthaven Analytics is independently owned and operated. We accept no advertising, sponsorships, or content placements. We do not represent any regulated entity, law firm, lobbying group, or trade association. Our only revenue source is subscriber fees. Coverage decisions — which regulators we monitor, which actions we classify as material — are made by editorial staff using the documented methodology, with no input from subscribers, vendors, or third parties.

Founder

Matthew Baker — Founder & Editorial Lead

Cresthaven Analytics was founded in 2026 by Matthew Baker. The company applies institutional research methods to regulatory primary-source monitoring, with the conviction that the asymmetry between Bloomberg-tier intelligence and what professional firms can actually access is structural, not inevitable. Matthew leads editorial direction, methodology, and sourcing standards.
