Know Your Customer verification in the Energy, Power & Commodities sector sits at the intersection of financial crime compliance and physical commodity trading, where regulators including the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and the UK Financial Conduct Authority each assert jurisdiction over different parts of the transaction chain.
